Non-compliance with the requirements

  • Older PDF documents in the download area (datasheets, technical material from our partner manufacturers) are not consistently structured for accessibility. Scanned content lacks a text layer.

  • Images and graphics do not always have alternative texts, or the alternative texts are not always sufficiently descriptive.

  • Video content (e.g. the background video in the hero area) does not have captions or audio description, as it is used purely decoratively and does not convey relevant information.

  • Embedded YouTube videos are the responsibility of the third-party provider; full compliance cannot be ensured in every case.

  • Contrast values for individual design elements do not consistently meet AA-level requirements due to our corporate design. We are working on a gradual adjustment.

Disproportionate burden

An immediate adaptation of all historically published content (in particular older PDF files in the download area) would constitute a disproportionate organisational and economic burden within the meaning of § 7 WZG and § 11 BaFG. This content will be revised step by step within the regular content lifecycle or replaced with accessible versions.
